CU River
Mining Australia is a privately owned
Australian company and one of only two iron ore producers in South Australia. The company was founded in 2014 and purchased the Cairn Hill iron ore project in the South Austraian outback near Coober Pedy the same year. It is now a major employer in the district and a successful producer and exporter with exciting plans for the future. CU River is a committed supporter of South Australia’s Magnetite Strategy and its goal of producing 50 million tonnes of iron ore magnetite per year by 2030. As a company, it will make a significant contribution toward achieving that goal.

CU River purchased the Cairn Hill mine in South Australia, previously operated by IMX Resources, in 2014. Cairn Hill (ML6303) is located approximately 850km north-west of Adelaide and approximately 50km southeast of Coober Pedy.
